Viewing Non-Outlook Data
Outlook is a versatile program, as you are beginning to see. Word's primary purpose is to manage documents. Excel's is to manage worksheets. Access's is to manage databases. PowerPoint's is to manage presentations. On the other hand, Outlook manages many different kinds of information. The Outlook screen changes considerably as you work with the various kinds of folders.
While working in Outlook, you can view Web pages within Outlook itself. Outlook provides a Web toolbar with which you can enter a Web page address and view the page from within Outlook, as done in Figure 15.4. When you click the Back button, Outlook returns you to whatever folder you were working in before displaying the page.
