Inserting Scanned and Digital Camera Images
Technology is rapidly changing, and Office does its best to keep up with that hurried pace. You can easily insert images that you scan on a scanner or take with a digital camera. Office makes inserting pictures from these devices as easy as inserting graphics from a file.
For example, suppose that you want to scan a child's drawing to insert into a letter to relatives. Simply select Insert, Picture, From Scanner or Camera. Word displays a scanner collection dialog box or digital camera dialog box from which you can control your scanner or digital camera's transfer of the picture to your document.
