Hour 4. Managing Documents and Customizing Word 2003
This hour teaches you how to work more globally with your documents than the previous two hours. Instead of concentrating on specific editing skills, you learn how to manage your document properties. Word manages your documents well and tracks changes that are made to the document. This tracking really comes in handy if you work in a group environment.
The proofing tools in Word are powerful and work as you type. You learned a little about the spelling checker in Hour 2, "Welcome to Word 2003," but in this hour you'll learn to control the spell-checker as well as use Word's grammar, hyphenation, and synonym features.
