Removing Components from Your Movie
It is important to understand how to properly remove components from your movie. Removing V2 components is usually very straightforward: Select the compiled clip in the Library panel, and delete it.
V1 components, on the other hand, can often be linked to many other assets spread across several folders in the Library panel. Some V1 components share assets, such as the V1 Scrollbar component. Therefore, care must be taken when removing assets from the Library. You should have a solid understanding of component structure and asset usage if you attempt to manually remove items from the Flash UI Component folder in the Library.
