1:	Why would you ever embed a font in a Dynamic Text field if it adds to the file size? Users will only see Times New Roman if you don't. You can't color Dynamic text unless the font is embedded. It's the only way to ensure the font will appear correctly when the user doesn't have the same font installed.
2:	When you create a gradient swatch, which panel(s) do you use? The Swatch panel and the Gradient panel The Properties panel The Color Mixer panel
3:	Because Flash Basic doesn't include Filters or Blends it's pretty much impossible to use for graphics? True. No, you can still do some stuff—just not as advanced. No, Filters and Blends only apply to Raster graphics so you're fine if you don't plan on using those.

A1:	C. First, you should only be using Dynamic or Input text if you need to. When you do, and you're not 100% certain users will have the same font installed, then you should embed characters. And, then, only the characters you really need.
A2:	C. The Color Mixer panel is where you create and edit a custom gradient. Note that there is no Gradient panel, so Answer A is definitely incorrect.
A3:	B. Personally, I find the difference between Flash Basic 8 and Flash Professional 8 particularly notable that I definitely only recommend Flash Professional 8.
